BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Nii Ankrah a.k.a BlackJack was brought up in a lively and musical Ghanaian family. BlackJack has been making music since he was 4 years old, when he and his sisters started playing their Dad's organ player and writing songs. Growing up, he listened to a wide range of music which inspired him to craft his own production style.
 
He became more serious about music production at aged 15 and used a variety of music production programs. Since 2005, he has been working with Propellerhead's Reason.
 
In 2007, Blackjack became a member of soulful house group Circle Of Funk.
Circle of Funk have released several tracks with various singers including Lifford Shillingford (Artful Dodger - Please Don't Turn Me On) and house music legend, Robert Owens. They also worked with Mikee Freedom to remix 90's classic dance track 'I Wanna Give You Devotion'.
 
From early 2016 Blackjack became solo & was more focused on his productions.

Since then he has collaborated with a few artists & has had his music featured on various radio shows around the world. In April 2023 Blackjack has now released his first album.
